Reda is one of the leading companies in Italian Textile and is specialized in manufacturing worsted high quality fabrics for menswear formal fashion.

Reda is using since almost 3 years Dynamics AX and the Porini vertical for its Rewoolution division, specialized in pure merino wool high performance sportswear clothing. Today the project expands to the woollen mill, pulsating heart of this company, pride of “Made in Italy” and of the textile tradition typical of Biella territory. The project will progressively automatize the different departments of the company and will be the basement for a single and integrated Information System, modern and up to date. This new system shall adequately support Reda in its progressive expansion in the international fashion markets.

Reda Spa is a Biella based company, manufacturing since almost 150 years worsted high and ultra-high quality fabrics. These fabrics are distributed worldwide and classify Reda as a leader in the sector in Italy when it comes to innovation and quality. Its peculiarity is to manage internally the entire textile supply chain: from sheep farming (they own farms in New Zeeland) to spinning, weaving, fabric finishing and now to the finished garment – high performance sportswear.

Porini Srl, from Como, Italy, is specialized since 45 years in apparel and textile software. During all these years Porini has worked in Italy and abroad with hundreds of customers. Since almost 6 years Porini produces a vertical solution for this specific market based on the Microsoft Dynamics AX platform. The product was born thanks to an international cooperation with Microsoft in the Industry Solution Project and was conceived in order to reinforce the standard software in this specific sector. For what concerns project implementations Porini cooperates with and supports several certified and qualified Microsoft partners, across all continents.
