Bosch Rexroth, one of the most important company in providing motion control and drive technology, has chosen Porini to implement a flexible and performing reporting system.
BOSCH REXROTH, is one of the world’s leading companies specialized in motion control and drive technology. Under the Rexroth brand, the company provides to its customers more than 500,000 tailor-made solutions for the drive, control and movement of machines and industrial plants. Bosch Rexroth is a partner company in the industry of industrial automation for plant equipment and mobile operating machinery, as well as in the use of renewable energies. Bosch Rexroth develops, manufactures and distributes its components and systems in more than 80 countries around the world.
The project in collaboration with Porini was born from the necessity found by Bosch Rexroth to implement a flexible and performing reporting system.
Microsoft’s Analytics solutions have been considered to be the most appropriate in supporting the Controller in the activity of reviewing and interpreting the large amount of data available to the company. Initially the project has involved the Finance area; then it has been extended to the sales, quality, logistics and warehouse areas: In a few years the company has reached a level of complete reporting system. The next steps provide the sharing of data models developed for Italy to other European countries.

Il progetto in collaborazione con Porini è nato dalla necessità riscontrata da Bosch Rexroth di implementare un sistema di reportistica flessibile e performante.
Le soluzioni Microsoft in ambito analytics sono state reputate le più adeguate nel supportare il controller nell’attività di revisione e interpretazione dell’ingente mole di dati a disposizione dell’azienda. Inizialmente il progetto ha coinvolto l’area Finance ed è stato poi esteso all’area vendite, qualità, logistica e magazzino: nel giro di pochi anni l’azienda ha raggiunto un livello di reportistica completa. I prossimi step prevedono la condivisione dei modelli dati sviluppati per l’Italia alle altre country europee.
