Porini and SPX announce the signature of a very important Partnership and Distributorship agreement

Milano – Tunis, 26/8/2020.

Porini and SPX are proud to announce the signature of a very important Partnership and Distributorship agreement which will have Tunisia as starting country but with the long-term goal of expanding the presence of Porini software solutions in all African Francophone countries.

The agreement will give SPX, an emerging and steadily growing Microsoft Dynamics Partner in the Tunisian market, the possibility, and duty of selling and implementing the Porini vertical solution for textile and apparel companies in African French speaking countries. In force of this agreement Porini and SPX will bring live the first common customer in Tunisia on Microsoft D365 (a large apparel manufacturer company). Tunisia is known for having a large and consolidated number of textile and garment manufacturing companies and for being, in the Mediterranean Sea, a sourcing base for the entire apparel business in Europe.

“Porini is a well-known company in the Microsoft landscape and all customers and partners have always spoken positively about them; therefore, when the opportunity arose of this first common customer in D365, we were thrilled and happy to start this partnership. If you see the roster of their partners, you see some very notorious and successful companies; we are certainly in a winning team. Tunisia and the entire North Africa is going to have a growing role in apparel sourcing’s world-wide map, due to the proximity to Europe and we believe that our expertise and knowledge of the market together with the strength of the Porini solutions, will bring us consistent benefits in the next coming period.” says Rabii Jhinaoui, General Manager of SPX.

“We strongly believe that the latest trends in the fashion industry, emphasized from the recent pandemia, will move apparel manufacturing to countries closest to Europe (nearshoring) as opposed to sourcing very far away as before. It means that Tunisia and Morocco (just to name two of the most relevant countries for this industry) have a big challenge and a big opportunity to gain market share. We think that our solutions, properly implemented and supported by a valuable partner like SPX, can help the local industries to gain further efficiency and reliability and becoming the first manufacturing choice for a larger number of fashion brands”, says Giuseppe Ghisoni, Textile&Fashion Market Director.

Based in Tunis, SPX is the first and more structured Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner in Tunisia. With a team of more than 30 people, SPX has the complete skillset for successfully implementing the entire stack of Microsoft cloud technologies, from ERP to CRM to BI and APPS.
