Artificial Intelligence applied to research and prevention in Healthcare: Matteo Mille, Chief Marketing and Operations Officer of Microsoft Italy, Antonio Esposito, Deputy Director of the Center for Experimental Imaging of IRCCS San Raffaele Hospital and Associate Professor at University Vita-Salute San Raffaele tell about the AI Score project conducted in collaboration with Microsoft and selected Partners.

Porini has contributed to the design and implementation of AI Score: the APP, completely in Cloud, that through a sophisticated algorithm of Artificial Intelligence, combines patient data (swab results, age, degree of saturation, CT images) and, without any human intervention, is able to predict the risk of worsening of the patient’s condition and therefore the need for hospitalization and intensive care. These data and the experience gained become fundamental to better manage similar situations in the future in other contexts and for other diseases.

Porini ha contribuito alla progettazione e realizzazione di AI Score: l’APP completamente in Cloud, che attraverso un sofisticato algoritmo di Artificial Intelligence, combina i dati relativi al paziente ( esito tampone, età, grado di saturazione, immagini della TAC) e, senza alcun intervento umano, è in grado di prevedere il rischio di peggioramento delle condizioni del paziente e quindi la necessità di ricorrere al ricovero e alla terapia intensiva. Questi dati e l’esperienza maturata diventano fondamentali per gestire al meglio in futuro situazioni simili in altri contesti e per altre patologie.
