Empoli, December 11th 2017.

PORINI and Var Group, through its subsidiary Var Prime, have established a strategic partnership that will enforce the development of solutions for the retail sector, thanks to the creation of a joint venture. The two groups have decided to put together  their technologies and market experiences, investing in COCAI, the new common company developing the homonymous product suite, in order to consolidate the development of a solution already appreciated by the Italian and international market, investing on innovation and leveraging the integration within the Var Group offer.

Var Prime will be the new competence center of Var Group, dedicated to the retail industry, which will consolidate the new offering, skills and solutions already present in Var Group and Porini, focusing on the digital trasformation: from multi-channel to evolved ecommerce, from new customer engagement models to product innovations with virtual and augmented reality, from operations optimization to real-time POS data integration with predictive models of data analysis and clustering.

The core of the offer is Cocai Retail Suite, an innovative and scalable retail solution based on Microsoft Azure technology, that allows easy adoption and deployment supported on all devices which, thanks to its native web-service connectors, is the ideal complement to the different ERP solutions in the Var Group portfolio.
