Generative Artificial Intelligence is the focus of Microsoft Ignite 2023, where Microsoft announced the latest innovations.
The potential of generative AI is transforming and innovating many areas of work. Microsoft presented a new edition of its Work Trend Index with some very interesting data: 70 per cent of Copilot users said they have increased their productivity, 84 per cent said Copilot makes it easier to work after a meeting, and 77 per cent of early adopters said they don’t want to give it up.
Microsoft is working on expanding Copilot tools to improve AI-driven productivity in various roles and functions. With this in mind to make Copilot more accessible to everyone, Microsoft announced that Bing Chat and Bing Chat Enterprise will simply become Copilot.
In addition to new Copilot-related features in Microsoft 365, Microsoft also announced further solutions including:
- Microsoft Copilot Studio a tool that allows companies to build custom Copilots
- Microsoft Copilot for Azure which simplifies the management of everyday IT operations and will support IT professionals
- Windows AI Studio which offers a new suite of AI and productivity tools for developers.

Il potenziale dell’AI generativa sta trasformando e innovando moltissimi ambiti del lavoro. Microsoft ha presentato una nuova edizione del suo Work Trend Index con alcuni dati molto interessanti: il 70% degli utenti di Copilot ha dichiarato di aver incrementato la propria produttività, l’84% ha dichiarato che Copilot facilita il lavoro dopo una riunione inoltre il 77% dei primi utenti ha dichiarato che non vuole rinunciarci.
Microsoft sta lavorando all’ampliamento degli strumenti Copilot per migliorare la produttività guidata dall’AI in vari ruoli e funzioni. In quest’ottica per rendere Copilot più accessibile a tutti, Microsoft ha annunciato che Bing Chat e Bing Chat Enterprise diventeranno semplicemente Copilot.
Oltre a nuove funzionalità legate a Copilot in Microsoft 365, Microsoft ha annunciato anche ulteriori soluzioni tra cui

- Microsoft Copilot for Azure che semplifica la gestione delle operazioni IT di ogni giorno e sarà a supporto dei professionisti IT
